| Beerlao: Laotian Lager, 5% (Lao Brewery) It’s crisp and inoffensive, with light grassy hops. It is brewed using local rice, and it does have a bit of a toasted rice flavour. That does make it stand out a little, but otherwise it’s a bland summer lager. 5.5/10 | ![]() |
| Beerlao Dark: Laotian Dark Lager, 6.5% (Lao Brewery) It’s thin, with little bitterness and mild toasted malt. There’s a slight artificial sweetness to it and a musty background. Easy drinking and a change if you are fed up of light lager. 4.5/10 | ![]() |
